Corporate & Fund Services

Oakglen’s corporate and fund services business, Oakbridge, started life as in-house service provider to the Group. A decade later it now provides a range of corporate and fund administration, accounting and management services from Jersey to an international client base that operates in various sectors including real estate, private equity, venture capital and debt.

Oakbridge set out originally to provide a superior level of service than was generally available in the local market. Its focus was on quality of output, responsiveness and a willingness to work until deadlines were met. Those pillars remain the same today and, combined with a commitment to fee transparency and stability, underpin Oakbridge’s tendency to develop long lasting and positive relationships with clients in a sector that has become increasingly short-term focused due to constant change and consolidation.

Oakbridge’s team incorporates a blend of experience from accounting, administration, company secretarial, finance, legal and governance backgrounds in the real estate, private equity, venture capital, debt and other alternative sectors so are well equipped to provide a broad range of expertise as required by clients. They are comfortable working across various structures, from simple companies and trusts to private and more complex fund and fund of fund structures. They have worked with first time fund managers, on large listed funds and on a wide variety in between. As with other businesses in the Group, they benefit from working with best-in-class systems and infrastructure.

Oakbridge’s corporate team are steeped in real estate experience having worked on group projects and for external clients, predominantly in the London market, for over a decade. They work with clients throughout the project lifecycle from structuring, financing and acquisition, through project management and reporting, to sales and leasing. The funds team, which mostly worked together previously, specialises in servicing private equity and venture capital fund managers, usually of European origin and with a focus on technology.
