Oakglen’s private equity business has its roots in the technology sector. Since its formation in 2009, Oakglen has been an active technology investor, with a focus on B2B SaaS businesses, where we can work with the founders and/or management teams to deliver accelerated growth and support product development. More recently Oakglen’s private equity activity has expanded to include PropTech and operational real estate, allowing us to leverage our real estate knowledge and capabilities within our private equity business.
We seek to acquire significant minority or majority positions in businesses with proven product and revenue models, where our capital and expertise can help inform the development road map and accelerate growth. We have had notable success in supporting our portfolio businesses in expanding internationally both within Europe and into North America. We are an investor with a strong operational focus, working closely with the management teams of our portfolio companies to support them in executing their business plans. Oakglen has the benefit of permanent capital, meaning our investment horizon is not dictated by the structure of an investment vehicle. We have historically been active follow-on investors, supporting our portfolio businesses through multiple phases of organic growth and helping them deliver on M&A activity.
